The documentary Unacknowledged strives to convince people that extraterrestrial life exists. Dr. Steven Greene is a scientist who conducted interview in the 80’s and 90’s to discover if aliens exist. During the documentary he and interviewed people give evidence of alien existing.
Before watching, I was always skeptical about there being more life out in the universe. I had seen small amounts of evidence to prove that aliens exist but had never fully believed in the theories or evidences. Even with these doubts I still had the one big question, “are we alone in the universe”. I was hoping this documentary could finally give me a answer.
The documentary itself gave mountains of evidence. It gave mean first hand accounts of people and scientists. It showed examples of these events that were meant to convince the watcher that aliens exist. The documentary does not try and focus on one event but covers multiple events that have lagitmasy.
First off the documentary starts, rhetorical with the question “Are we alone in the universe” to covay what they are trying to answer. They use statistics to convince people that aliens to exist. For example “there are more planets life can develop from, that grains of sand on Earth”. They also use conspiracy theories to explain why governments don’t acknowledge these events

Most of the evidence provided is from first hand accounts of people in planes or operating radar. It shows famous people who believe in the theories like Bill Clinton, Prince Phillips, and Buzz Aldrin. Experts like Richard Dowdy, Stephen Lovekin, and Caral Sagin also give their opinion on why ET’s exist. The documentary gives so much evidence it does not allow the watcher to question if they exist.
Another way they tried to persuade the watcher was there use of camera work and music. They filmed the scene in a way that would give the documentary a eyrie to make it mysteries or thought provoking. This was reinforced by musics which also gave a eyrie and mysterious feeling. Together it convicted you that all of this evidence is very mysteries and not normal to people
Overall it was a great documentary, that kept me entertained through the hole film. Its use of evidence and how it presented the evidence convinced me that there is probably life out there. What I really liked about the documentary is that they said to not believe all of this evidence because people could be lying. I would recommend for you to watch this documentary.
